Known for her powerful, brightly-colored abstract paintings and collages, the art of Margie Steinmann is in public and private collections throughout the world. Her dynamic works have been described by reviewers as "maps of our collective unconscious that we did not know existed before we saw them." A native New Yorker, Steinmann has also lived in Los Angeles and Santa Fe. She presently resides in New York City.
